Reiki Treatment
Reiki is a gentle Japanese technique designed to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and support the body’s natural healing processes. It works by helping to restore balance within the mind, body, emotions, and spirit. Reiki is based on the understanding that everything is energy — including our bodies, thoughts, and emotions. When we experience prolonged stress, trauma, or emotional strain, it can create tension and imbalance within the body. These imbalances may contribute to physical discomfort, fatigue, difficulty sleeping, or emotional overwhelm. During a Reiki session, a trained practitioner uses light touch or holds their hands just above the body to support relaxation and encourage energetic balance. Many clients describe feeling deeply calm, grounded, and restored after a session.
Registered Naturopathic Doctor
Dr. Yasser Elmahalawy ND # 4512
Hi, I am Dr. Yasser Elmahalawy, N.D.
I have come to understand that true health is more than the absence of disease — it’s about living with energy, balance, and purpose.
I am providing naturopathic care to men, women and children that complements the excellent psychological services being provided at Healing Haven Wellness Centre.
Many women in their 40s and 50s begin to notice changes that affect energy, mood, sleep, cognition, and metabolism—sometimes making it more difficult to maintain or manage weight. These changes are often associated with what is known as perimenopause and menopause. These physiological and hormonal transitions can feel challenging, and it is completely natural to seek guidance and support. They may also impact both personal well-being and daily performance. As a Naturopathic Doctor regulated in Ontario who adopts a truly holistic approach, I provide thorough naturopathic assessments and individualized, evidence-informed treatment plans within my scope of practice. Together, we will identify your health goals through a comprehensive assessment and explore the natural therapies that may best support you. These may include targeted nutrition, supplementation, botanical medicine, acupuncture, and strategic lifestyle interventions. Our approach is flexible and personalized, ensuring that your plan is tailored to your unique needs and lifestyle. If you are seeking a natural, structured, and professional approach to midlife health, I look forward to supporting you. See you soon!

Focus Areas: children, teens and families (anxiety, depression, complex trauma, PTSD)
Hi, I’m Rebecca. I’m a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work, and my work is rooted in a warm, playful, and deeply trauma-informed approach. I specialize in supporting children, teens, and families, creating spaces where young people feel safe to express themselves, build emotional understanding, and strengthen connection with the important adults in their lives.
Much of my work focuses on child and family therapy, using developmentally appropriate, attachment-based approaches. I believe children communicate in many ways — and my role is to help make sense of those messages in a compassionate and supportive way. I work closely with caregivers, recognizing the vital role they play in a child’s healing and growth.
Alongside my work with children and families, I also support adults who are interested in healing from childhood trauma and exploring inner child work. My work with adults is informed by the same principles that guide my child therapy: safety, curiosity, and connection.
I have over 8 years of experience as a therapist, with much of my practice centered on children, youth, and families. My integrative approach includes play-based therapy (including CCPT), attachment-focused work, EMDR, parts work, CBT/DBT, and skill-building strategies, always tailored to the needs and pace of each client.

Kim Cass
Hi, I am Kim Cass and I am a Komyo ReikiDo and Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Shihan (Teacher).
I found Reiki in 2008 while dealing with personal struggles with anxiety, depression and feeling overwhelmed ‘with life’. All I can tell you from those memories is that ‘something shifted in me’. By 2015 I had taken Reiki Level 1, 2 and 3 and by 2017 I was a registered student with the Canadian Reiki Association. As I ventured deeper into Reiki and its wisdom I met my current mentor Niki Klein who allowed me to audit her Level 1 and 2 courses as a ‘refresher’ to my previous courses. I then stepped into my Level 3 (Master Practitioner) and Level 4 (Master Teacher) with her in April of 2017. Since then I have spent years supporting clients, learning and growing as a Reiki Master Teacher (Shihan), accredited by the Canadian Reiki Association in 2023.
This past summer I travelled to Sherwood Park, Alberta with my mentor to attend a week long Komyo ReikiDo seminar with Hyakuten Inamoto Sensei from Kyoto, Japan. Since then completing additional training and refresher courses I have been certified as a Komyo ReikiDo Shihan.
Through my life experiences and hardships, combined with the knowledge and wisdom I have obtained through years of Reiki training I look forward to supporting you, wherever you may be on your healing journey. I hope that your choice to join me for a Reiki session allows you to find some of the same peace, calm and relaxation that I have felt over the last 17 years.

FOCUS AREAS: Individuals dealing with life changes, Anxiety, Depression, Grief and loss, Parenting challenges, Attachment issues, Menopause/Perimenopause, Finding joy again in life
Hello my name is Jennifer and I am a Registered Psychotherapist and Registered Art Therapist working with adults who are seeking meaningful change and a deeper connection with themselves. I have a BA in Psychology from Brock University and a Post-Graduate Diploma from the University of Western Ontario. I offer both traditional talk therapy and Art Therapy sessions, creating a supportive and individualized space for reflection, creativity, and personal growth.
Many of the adults I work with feel exhausted, overwhelmed, or burnt out from carrying the weight of responsibilities for so long. You may have spent years putting everyone else first—family, career, relationships—only to realize you’ve become disconnected from your own needs, desires, or sense of joy. As a mom of two teenagers, I understand the joys and challenges of parenting at this stage of life and how easy it can be to lose sight of your own passions. You might feel like you’ve lost your spark, or be unsure of who you are at this stage. Our work together focuses on gently reconnecting you with yourself, cultivating self-compassion, and helping you rediscover meaning and vitality.
I view therapy as a collaborative process rooted in curiosity rather than correction. Through talk therapy, we explore patterns, emotions, and life experiences with care and depth. Through Art Therapy, I offer a creative pathway for expression when words feel limiting. Engaging in the creative process can uncover insight, clarity, and emotional release in ways that are often unexpected. No artistic experience is needed—only a willingness to explore.
Later in my professional journey, I pursued additional holistic training after recognizing that while emotional, mental, and physical health are often addressed, the spiritual dimension of wellbeing is sometimes overlooked. I believe tending to this deeper sense of meaning and connection can be an important part of restoring hope. This perspective continues to inform the intuitive, whole-person lens I bring to my work today, while remaining grounded in professional psychotherapy practice.
If you feel ready to reconnect with yourself, explore your emotions, or rediscover joy and purpose in your life, I welcome you to reach out and begin this journey together.

Focus Areas: Trauma, CPSTD/PTSD (Developmental Trauma), Neurodiveirty - ADHD, ASD, FASD and cultural diversity, mood disorders: depression, anxiety, BPD, panic, self-harm, substance use, boundaries, self-compassion, attachment and spirituality
Hi, I am Ryanna and I am Registered Social Worker. I have completed a Master of Social Work, a Bachelor of Social Work, and an undergraduate degree in Social Development Studies, all from the University of Waterloo. I also possess a college certificate in Human Service Foundations from Conestoga College. I see children, teens and adults (anxiety, trauma, depression, grief, neurodiversity)
Our lives are not entirely defined by what has happened to us but rather by the meaning we decide to extract from it. “Trauma is a fact of life. It does not, however, have to be a life sentence” - P.A.Levine.
My vocation and commitment to supporting individuals to overcome trauma, adversity and problems in living are rooted in a profound understanding of intersectionality. It is my professional and personal lived experiences, in collaboration with my identity as a neurodivergent, first-generation Canadian, that fuel what drives my pursuit of collective healing. Before beginning clinical practice, I spent several years working in crisis intervention and prevention, addictions and recovery, accessibility, the shelter system, behavioural therapy, and child welfare and protection. I focus on empowering authenticity and promoting self-actualization; my therapeutic approach to healing is founded in a trauma-informed biopsychosocial lens. Interventions and resources are developed and carefully selected based on each individual’s history and needs. Currently providing support to all age groups, some evidence-based modalities that inform my practice are Somatics, IFS, DBT, ACT, CBT, EFT, Play Therapy Strengths, Mindfulness and Attachment.

CRPO #008763
Hi there! I’m Amanda and I am a Registered Psychotherapist. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Guelph. I obtained a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I have a decade of experience in various mental health fields, primarily working with adults with comorbid mental health concerns as well as individuals of marginalized populations. From a very young age, I knew I wanted to help others and advocate for the importance of addressing and treating mental health, just as we do our physical health– from an empowering place rather than a pathologizing one. My lived experiences also help inform my work on a deeper level.
I work from a very client-centered, eclectic, biopsychosocial approach and incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities to best meet and support the needs and goals of each individual client and help me to truly empathize and hold space for clients- meeting you where you are at. Some of the evidence-based approaches I pull from include: Strengths-Based Solution-Focused Therapy, Self-compassion Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Somatic techniques, Attachment-Based Therapy,InnerChild Therapy, Neuroaffirming Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based CognitiveBehavioural Therapy.
Helping others transform and reframe their issues and struggles into life-enhancing opportunities and personal growth is my passion. We often forget that being truly heard and listened to can be such a cathartic and powerful experience. I strive to make every client feel truly heard, valued, honoured and empowered, by holding space for you to share openly and honestly. I look forward to working together to help you achieve your goals and lead a more fulfilling, happier, healthier life —one day at a time.

Devon D'Andrea CRPO 16234
Focus Areas: anxiety, depression, stress, overwhelm, relationships (work, familial, romantic), career transitions, parenthood, and women’s mental health including peri/menopause.
Devon is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Her approach is shaped by both her clinical training and personal experiences that have transformed her – from corporate burnout, emotional complexity of infertility, the realities of motherhood and relationships, as well the mental and emotional load that so many of us silently carry.
These experiences allow her to meet clients with genuine compassion and a deep understanding of what it means to feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of who you are beneath all the roles you hold. She am passionate about supporting the times life shifts and you are seeking more understanding and control.
Her approach is integrative and evidence-based, drawing from EMDR, Mindfulness, Emotion-Focused Therapy, CBT, and a client-centred foundation. Together, you will explore what’s contributing to your stress, make sense of emotional patterns, and build tools that support clarity, self-trust, balance, and healing. Whether you come in knowing exactly what you want to work on or simply feeling like something isn’t right, therapy becomes a place to reconnect with yourself.
The heart of my work is to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change—at a pace that honours your story and your strengths.
